I managed to find a little time this week and dive into Wordpress a bit more. I thought my initial layout was ok, but it felt crowded. My goal with the redesign was to make reading posts easier. I added a little bit of javascript to insert a show/hide button on the top of each post. Overall I am pretty happy with the look and feel. The sidebar isn’t completely resolved, I’ll probably spend a bit of time on that tonight.

With the change I did take my “Transitions” demo offline. Once I get the layout stabilized I will get a working demo back up.

For those of you wondering what is going on with MooCrop. I am in the middle of a complete rewrite. I will keep you posted on the progress.

I’m a bit ashamed to admit that I have been a web developer for over 10 years and I have never really had a place on the net to call my own. I have been so busy working and helping others that I have always put myself at the end of the list. Its difficult to find the inspiration to work on your site when all you do is work on sites. I also have this sickness like a lot of other developers, perfection. Putting that all aside I am making a commitment to myself to put a little bit of time each week into this site.

I have to thank my good friend Dan Miller for inspiring me to get off my ass and just do it.
